Don't Waste You Insurance Benefits

The end of the year is a great time to make use of your dental insurance benefits. Most insurance plans "reset" your benefits at the end of the year so anything you don't use will be gone by December 31. So if you have dental work to be done, it's a good idea to take care of it before the end of the year so you can save next year's benefit allowance for other things that might come up. Maximizing your benefits is also a good way to cover more expensive procedures. For example, if you have a treatment plan that will cost $7,000 but your insurance only covers a maximum of $3,500 per year, you could do half the treatment in November or December, and the other half in January. Dr. Baker is a preferred provider for Regence Blue Shield, Premera Blue Cross, and Delta Dental (Washington Dental Service). We are also pleased to bill other insurances on your behalf. To schedule a dental appointment in our downtown office, or to find out what dental benefits you have available through your insurance, call Val at (206)343-8774 or contact us online by clicking here. These appointments tend to fill up more quickly than at other times during the year, so plan ahead and make your appointment now.

Wow I wish I knew which insurance had a $3500 Max. We were all celebrating because ours will go up to $2000 in 2009!

Maybe a bit of wishful thinking on my part. You're right, typical insurance maximums don't often get up to the $2000 mark. A celebration is in order!
